Fall has come

Well it looks like the bright sunny days of summer are all but over. The days are getting shorter and colder. Coast Mountain Log Homes is on schedule to deliver the next 4 cabins to Alpine Resort in early November. Once delivered We will start on our anual "spec" home. We haven't decided on the exact model yet but it is a toss-up between the Birken cabin (or a modified version of it) or cabin #2. Either way it will be the same high quality as all our projects. Busy...Busy...Busy...

Well we sure have been busy the last three weeks. This time of year is always busy for us as we try to get customers their log homes in time to get them to lock-up before the snow flies. The best thing about this business is the people we meet. I recently crossed paths with a wood carver by the name of Paul Sark who carves the most amazing log home inspired carvings I have ever seen. Not much to report today. Weather was anything but stellar. Roy's house is coming along nicely we should have the 5th round done by Wednesday or Thursday

The Log Blog Goes Live

Hello fellow log home enthusiasts! As the President of Coast Mountain Log Homes I feel that it is necessary for me to keep in close contact with my both my present and future customers. There fore I have started the Coast Mountain Log Homes Log Blog. This is a place where I can give you insight into building and maintaining a log homes for a Professionals point of view. I will also also keep a regular journal of the goings-on at Coast Mountain Log Homes as well as answer any questions you might have.
