The days are getting shorter and colder. Coast Mountain Log Homes is on schedule to deliver the next 4 cabins to Alpine Resort in early November. Once delivered We will start on our anual "spec" home. We haven't decided on the exact model yet but it is a toss-up between the Birken cabin (or a modified version of it) or cabin #2. Either way it will be the same high quality as all our projects. This time of year is always busy for us as we try to get customers their log homes in time to get them to lock-up before the snow flies. The best thing about this business is the people we meet. I recently crossed paths with a wood carver by the name of Paul Sark who carves the most amazing log home inspired carvings I have ever seen.
